Christine is from Housatonic, Massachusetts.  Her first dog was an English Shepherd.  When he passed away, she researched intelligent dogs and found out about the Border Collie.  She attended a sheepdog trial in 1998 as a spectator, and “that was it” for her!  She purchased her first Border Collie puppy, Rook, in March 1999 and has been “devoted to these phenomenal dogs and the sport ever since.”  Her dogs, in turn, have taken her to a number of wins and double lift finals and to the USBCHA National Open or Nursery Finals every year since 2002. As Christine describes her journey: “The wonderful people we meet along this journey have become the most amazing friends, and that is truly special.”
